Senator Tracy proudly introduces Aaliyah Nash of Mt. Sterling to members of the Senate in the Capitol April 8.
The daughter of Derrick Nash and Nicole Nash, Aaliyah is participating in the Illinois Girls Lead Program, which encourages girls in Grades 5-12 to learn about the inner working of state government.
The Program offers participants the opportunity to shadow a woman in state government, including state officials, state legislators, agency heads, communications directors, and chiefs of staff.
