State Senator Jil Tracy released the following statement after the Governor’s annual State of the State and State Budget Address:

“Today’s budget proposal shows a clear difference in priorities between Republicans and the Governor. Republicans believe Illinois families deserve a government that lives within its means, protects taxpayers, and focuses on long-term stability, not higher taxes or temporary fixes. We support responsible investments in essential services, but they must be paired with structural reforms and fiscal discipline to put our state on a sustainable path forward.”
