Senator Tracy Earns 100% Pro Small Business Voting Record from NFIB

State Senator Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) has earned a 100% pro-small business voting record from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Illinois’ leading small business advocacy organization.

The NFIB’s 2025-2026 Small Business Legislative Voting Record recognizes legislators based on their votes on key issues affecting Illinois small businesses, including reducing burdensome regulations, opposing costly employer mandates, and supporting policies that strengthen workforce development.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our local communities and economy,” said Senator Tracy. “Family-owned businesses, local retailers, farmers, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs create jobs and invest in our neighborhoods. I’m honored to receive this recognition from NFIB and will continue working to support policies that help small businesses succeed.”

Senator Tracy’s perfect score places her among the highest-scoring members of the Illinois General Assembly for her support of small business priorities during the 2025-2026 legislative session.

“Senator Tracy is a true champion for small businesses in Springfield,” said NFIB Illinois State Director Noah Finley. “She gets how needless regulation and high taxes hurt our Main Street businesses, hampering their ability to grow, hire, and invest in our local communities.”
