With the Governor having issued a stay-at-home order lasting until April 7, I wanted to let you know that even though our legislative offices are temporarily closed, our constituent work continues.
Constituent services are still available by calling my district (217-223-0833) and Capitol (217-782-2479) offices or sending an e-mail at senatortracy@adams.net.
During these unprecedented circumstances, we are still working to help provide resources and information to the public.
Thank you to those who risk so much, continue to do their jobs, and make the necessary sacrifices to serve, protect, and provide for the public. Healthcare workers, first responders, truckers, and manufacturers are providing access to daily essentials and continue to work hard to ensure we have access to critical needs and resources.
Also, please remember that many families are struggling right now. Some people have been forced into unemployment because of this pandemic. Many employers forced to close their doors are facing unimaginable challenges. These are tough times for many people across the state and the nation.
Be kind to your neighbor, do what you can to help those in your community, and as always reach out to me if there’s anything I can do to assist you.
