SPRINGFIELD – Motorists interested in the Mobile DMV hosted by State Sen. Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) Aug. 20 in Carrollton are reminded that the Secretary of State’s Office requires that they make reservations to participate in the event.
The Secretary of State Mobile DMV is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Aug. 20 at City Hall, 621 S. Main St. in Carrollton. Limited spots are available. Please reserve a spot by sending an e-mail to JScaife@sgop.ilga.gov or calling 217-782-2479.
Residents will be able to renew their driver’s licenses, purchase license plate stickers, sign up for the Secretary of State’s Organ/Tissue Donor Registry, and obtain a Real ID (visit https://realid.ilsos.gov/ for list of required documents). Senior citizens ages 78 and older must visit a Secretary of State Driver Services facility to renew their driver’s licenses.
Proper identification will be required for all services. All payments must be made by check, credit card, debit card or money order. No cash will be accepted.
