The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB) has announced the opening of the application period for the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) Law Enforcement Camera Grant, designed to equip police agencies in Illinois with essential video technology.
ILETSB is providing over $56 million in state funding to support law enforcement agencies with equipment, training, and resources for evidence collection.
Funds can be awarded for:
- Officer-worn body camera technology
- In-car cameras for law enforcement vehicles
- Data storage and associated program licensing
- Law-enforcement personnel training
